| The energy rating is obtained by calculating the cubic volume of your property and then looking at the thermal efficiency of the floor, walls and roof and also the type of heating, hot water and lighting. |

| Assessment usually takes about 45 minutes and the report is emailed to you the next day. |
| EPC for rental properties are valid for 10 years but when used as part of a home information pack they are valid for 3 years. |
